Introduction to JOSM: advanced OSM editor

This month, we'll learn how to import and edit Open Street Map with JOSM. If you haven't heard of Open Street Map (OSM), no worries. OSM is a wiki style map of the world. As the name implies, it's based entirely on open data curated by people around the world. Let's join them!

This tutorial is tailored to beginners. You do not need to know OSM or how to run a GIS.

Target Audience: people who want to contribute to the wonderful world of Open Street Map

Be sure to bring your laptop!

There is absolutely no reason why this can't be your first Maptime! If you get a chance, install JOSM (https://josm.openstreetmap.de/).
